Last week, I had the privilege to be part of the Orange Tour stop in D.C. The church I am a student pastor of hosted the stop. It was great to have Orange come check out our church and so many people who are invested in family ministry attend as well. We all left feeling empowered and inspired to continue the work we do to impact the lives of kids and their families.
One of my highlights was sitting down with XP3 specialist, Jeremy Zach. We sat down for a few minutes to talk about my middle school program, the Uprising. Jeremy helped me think of new ways to recruit leaders and invest more time with my leaders. We looked through all the programs for students and I was able to just pick his brain on aspects of student ministry. Being relatively new to the game, it was awesome to just chat with Jeremy and get some feedback.
That is what Orange does. They care about you, your success and students. They have created amazing resources to save time and get you on the right track to succeeding in your ministry. The tour was great. Everyone, from Reggie Joiner to people running the merchandise, was approachable and awesome to work with.
Their passion for kids to be in relationships that points them to Jesus is contagious. I pray more churches begin to take a hold of their vision and plan for kids from zero all the way until college.
